Warranty

We offer a conditional lifetime warranty on everything we sell. Well... almost everything. Latex seals are so fragile that guaranteeing them would be like promising your eggs will make it home from the supermarket intact. They usually do, sometimes they don't. It is the way of fragile things.

Everything else, on the other hand, we guarantee irrespective of timescale. If it is faulty, we shall fix it or replace it, whether it is a year old or five. If, on the other hand, it is worn out, we shan't. Again, irrespective of age. 

Your statutory rights are unaffected. In a nutshell your (UK) statutory rights state that if the product is unfit for purpose (including didn't survive the amount of time you might reasonably have expected), you can claim a refund or replacement from the party from whom the purchase was made. Usually this is a shop. The lifetime warranty is a different matter - this is something we offer you as the manufacturer. It's two different things, see?

So what does lifetime mean? It means the lifetime of the product, not your lifetime, silly! When the thing's worn out, it's dead. It could be a month or a decade, that depends how hard you work it. We shall be the sole arbitors of this lifetime. Having said that it is our expressed intention to provide you with an excellent and ongoing service. So we're gonna be nice, and fix or replace your stuff, if it is at all justified in our expert opinion.
